Welcome to the first official MORE School of Revival newsletter! We look forward to encouraging you as we lift up Jesus' name and update you on all the Lord has been doing in and through MORE!
We are excited to be well into our second full year of classes! The School currently has an eleven-student 1st Year Cohort and a five-student 2nd Year Cohort, as well as 5 pastoral leaders. We have added outreach, administrative, and recruitment staff to our team to help reach the school's overall mission. Students are participating in weekly and monthly rhythms of encounter, connection, discipleship, and activation. We are growing in identity, stretching in spiritual maturity, and experiencing deep encounters with our loving Abba Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. The Bride is coming alive!
As 2024 comes to a close, we are full of gratitude for all God has done and anticipation of what He will do. While laying the foundations of More, Ephesians 3:20 became our theme: “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably MORE than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” We have been so blessed to already see the first fruits of this word fulfilled, as God continues to blow our minds with His faithfulness and goodness in this season of building and pioneering.
More is ultimately designed to be a three-year equipping school, and we are piloting year two. First-year students are learning to rest in the goodness of their Father God, and to tune into His voice of truth to teach, comfort, and guide them. Second-year students are focusing on transforming the culture around them by hosting God’s presence and carrying heavenly culture wherever they go. Next fall, we hope to have a class of third-year students continuing the pattern of revival group while studying healthy leadership and being intentionally connected to mentors in the sphere of influence to which they are called.
As much as we are passionate about equipping and sending the saints in our own community, central to the fabric of More is the call to spread the good news and joy of the Kingdom throughout the world. During a mission trip to Mexico City in 2014, Chad and Lauren received the call to be “fiery arrows to the nations.” As we enter 2025, we are amazed at the doors God is opening for sending passionate and equipped disciples of Jesus to Spain. It seems this is only the beginning of forging pathways for revival to spread across the globe!

A Focus on Serving Spain; An Update from Lauren, Emilee, and Chloe
It was bright and early, 4 am on Wednesday morning when we headed out of Newberg to PDX. We landed in Spain the next day, Thursday morning, at about 9 am. Travel was smooth; the Lord’s favor was already upon us. We had just five full days in Barcelona, but the trip totaled seven days including our traveling time. Each day held a full itinerary, making the trip feel longer and shorter than it actually was in different ways. We experienced so much and met so many people during our trip that it felt like we must have been there for a month. At the same time, we were on the go so much that the time in Barcelona flew by. Even during this quick trip, the Lord showed up in many sweet divine connections.
During our time in Barcelona, we stayed with Mariah, a missionary sent out from Saints Hill church who has been in Spain for three years. She is primarily called to share the gospel through sports, but shares our passion to see the church revived through worship, prayer, and seeing Jesus rightly. Mariah graciously hosted our team at her flat, and we were able to join her in many of the spaces and ways she typically spends her time during the week. This included being in multiple spaces of worship, café meetings, dinners with local friends, going to a local Spanish church, sports ministry in the form of dodgeball (and worship), travel by walking, metro, train, and bus, a visit to the Sagrada Familia, grocery shopping for ourselves and events, a walk on the beach, and even a child’s basketball game.
Everything we did was eventful and packed with goodness, but some things really stuck out. Connections at the worship and revival meeting times at the YWAM base in Barcelona were divine. There we met with the Orar (House of Prayer) ministry leaders who have a beautiful vision for creating a prayer/worship house filled with nature and art to host God’s presence and invite people to commune with Him. As we worshipped with them and connected with the believers there, we felt instantly at home in God’s presence and much mutual encouragement through conversations and prayers with new friends. We were also richly blessed by prayer and deep conversations with Mariah and one another throughout the trip, and felt God leading each of us into more freedom and truth in ways we each needed, individually. God is so wonderful!
We are prayerfully planning and looking forward to returning to Barcelona with our whole team of second year students in April. Through our meeting at the YWAM base, God has opened a door for us to partner with Orar (House of Prayer) to host a worship event for local church leaders on April 5th. This will be an exciting opportunity to build unity in the church, and to pray for and encourage leaders. We are continuing conversations with Orar, Mariah and other local missionaries and seeking Holy Spirit’s leading for other details of how we can pray and serve as we are there. We are excited for what God has in store! This month our students will be challenged to send out fundraising letters to friends and family asking for support. We would love your partnership in prayer while we are planning and coordinating the Spain Serve Trip!

Outreach - A Local Impact
In addition to the weekly rhythm of revival groups and the “Vision Trip to Spain,” this fall held a “Treasure “Hunt” and a “Kingdom Night”.
MORE envisions a transformative impact on Newberg and its surrounding communities. The students are undergoing profound personal growth, which in turn influences those around them. Throughout the year we stay involved through local treasure hunts where groups of students ask the Lord for clues to follow around town, finding the gold in others while reaching out with ministry and prayer.
Kingdom Night provides a space for first and second year students to press into the Lord together, experience local teaching and build one another up. Some highlights from this fall were precious, intimate worship, hearing the history of revival in Newberg from Mike and Barbie Doran (beloved board members and contenders for revival in Newberg for over 20 years), restoration of hearing for one student over 70 years old, and healing of pain in arms and legs.
Freedom Prayer - Healed Hearts and Connection to God
Three years ago, Justin and Carissa Adsit brought a passion for seeing people connect more deeply with God’s heart to the More team, and our “Freedom Prayer” ministry was born. This listening prayer ministry is about creating space for individuals to encounter God’s presence and experience being known by Him. We have already witnessed the beautiful fruit of God revealing truth, healing hearts, and setting people free.
Last year, Justin and Lisa Nauman launched an apprenticeship program to train a team of facilitators to serve both our Revival School students and the local community. This fall, every Revival School student participated in a Freedom Prayer session. Looking ahead to spring, we are thrilled to offer sessions to local church leaders and community members. We are filled with gratitude and anticipation as God continues to heal and renew so many hearts through this ministry!
Sent to the Nations - Hannah Davis
Each MORE student participates in a serve trip that can either be international or local to the United States. These trips create opportunities to strengthen Kingdom relationships, further the Gospel, and release encounters with God.
Hannah Davis, a recent first-year MORE graduate and alum, has answered the call to serve with the Circuit Riders based in Huntington Beach, California. In January 2025, she will leave for a three-month service trip to South Africa to bring the love of Jesus overseas. Hannah’s experience with MORE helped her gain confidence in her birthright as a beloved daughter, revealing her identity with the Father, and changing the way she loves others and thinks about evangelism. This radical transformation created a love and compassion for the people she’s been encountering in Los Angeles and Hunting Beach while training with Circuit Riders.
A word about MORE from Hannah: “Every week, we did a hot seat for one person in our revival group, which was where we got to prophesy and pray over this person and ask what the Lord wanted to reveal. Before I went to the revival group, I felt the Lord tell me that I was next and I got so excited, and turns out, it was me that night!
I was so expectant to what the Lord wanted to say, and when my MORE school family began to speak, the Lord spoke right through them and totally rooted me in the identity of Jesus. Every word that was spoken was healing to what lies I had believed, and I was poured into the Love of Christ completely. One thing that the Lord did was that He gave someone a picture of the beach without an interpretation. But little did he know that I shared sacred memories with the Lord at the beach and just dreamed about dancing with Jesus on the waves, back when I first met him, and even as I grew with him along with His love. The Lord has shown me how confidence in Him looks, how to steward what He has given me, and how to stand firm where He has placed my identity in Him.”
I have been asked to lay my entire life down, and I am hopeful that the Lord will mold me and shape me into who He created me to be even more. Surrender isn’t always easy, but it is worth it when you have learned to receive the love of the Lord. His word is so powerful, and Jesus has saved my life! Amen!” -Hannah Davis
Fundraising- Year-End Giving Opportunity
Your generosity plants seeds for the Kingdom!
We have a way for you to be a part of the MORE community even if you don't have time to participate in the School of Revival! Our heart is that the cost of tuition would not hinder potential students from attending. This is possible through the scholarships and discounts that we offer. We can offer scholarships because of people generously partnering with MORE to champion our students through the act of giving financially. Past recipients have encountered the truth about their identity through the radical love of Jesus and experienced His transforming power in their lives, something that wouldn’t have been possible without others’ generosity.
We invite you to partner with us by giving to the ministry to continue seeing the growth of revival in Newberg. If you are interested in giving, please check out our website’s “give” page at morepnw.com/donate.

Testimony: “I have been so blessed by MORE this past season and in these past couple of months in so many different ways. I feel like my fire for Jesus has been stoked, has been increased, so much every single day. I have learned so many things that I'm just thinking about throughout the week that I’m getting excited about. There are things that I'm applying in my everyday life with people around me in different situations. I'd say one thing that really stands out to me that is so cool is the community. The MORE community is unbelievable! We meet together every Wednesday in the evenings, and it is one of the most encouraging things in my life. It's my favorite day of the week! I love Wednesdays because we get to show up and watch the power of God show up in our group every single time. Things that are happening that would seem impossible. Things that happened in the New Testament, in Paul's life, in Jesus' life, are happening right here in someone's house. Revival is coming, and MORE is such an amazing way to step, leap, jump, or dive straight into the revival that is coming to the world!” -Aren Thomas, 2024 1st Year Student
